Wash your hands before applying. Gently clean the affected are of the skin with a mild cleanser and pat dry. Wait at least 15 minute to apply Tretinoin Cream. Use your fingertips to apply an adequate amount recommended by your Doctor. More than recommended may cause irritation, soreness, or discomfort.

Be careful Renova Cream doesn’t get into inner lip area, inside the nose, mouth or on cut, scraped, sunburned skin, or open wounds. A cotton pad or cotton swab can be used to apply Renova liquid. If flaking occurs during the use, remove it with soft washcloth and apply moisturizer. If you experience more irritation or flaking, it will be advisable to stop using for couple of days.

Wash your hands properly after applying the cream. Never use another medication during treatment. Use it at regular interval, probably at the same time, in order to get the most benefit from it. If your skin is hypersensitive or you are allergic to this kind of products, keep away from using.

Precautions:

Renova Cream precautions : If you are allergic to the content of Renova Cream, do not use it.
If you have eczema or other persistent skin conditions, take extreme care in using Retin-A. Make sure to keep it away from the eyes, mouth, angles of the nose, and mucous membranes. If it causes redness, irritation, peeling of skin, blistering, let your Doctor know. You may be advised to use less frequently or discontinue the medication. During initial period of acne treatment, you experience worsening of the condition due to action of Retin a cream. You don’t need to discontinue the treatment, however notify your Doctor.

As it is inflammable, keep it away from heat and fire. Renova Cream, Renova Gel or Renova Liquid doesn’t remove wrinkles; it fixes the damage done by the sun or reverses the aging process. Extra sensitive skin may become red, puffy, blistered or crusted. It would be better to keep using sunscreen. Your skin may darken or get discolored temporarily with repeated use.

Side Effects:

Renova Cream side effects are generally not severe, however you should be aware of all side effects.

Mild allergic reactions include Skin burning, Dry Skin, Itching, Skin Redness, skin peeling, Discoloration of Skin, excessive red skin, puffy, blistered or crusted skin.

Severe allergic reactions include Rashes, Hives, Difficult breathing, Tightness in the chest, Swelling of body parts, Severe redness, blistering, Crusting of the skin. If you have eczema or any other chronic skin conditions, use it with extreme caution, as it may cause severe irritation.

If any of the above side effects persist or become bothersome, let your doctor know immediately.

Miss the use or over use Retin a cream:

If you miss a dose, resume your regular schedule the next time.
Applying excessive Retin-A will not produce faster or a better result. It may worsen your skin condition. However, if you suspect over use and if you experience the symptoms such as peeling of skin, redness on skin, clumsiness, and discomfort, stomach pain or headache, seek emergency medical help or contact your Doctor immediately.

Storage:

Keep the medication at room temperature and in a tightly closed container away from heat, moisture, light, children, and pets.

Renova Interactions:

If Retin a cream is used with other drugs or cream, it may result into interactions. It may increase, decrease or alter the effect of medicine.

Consult your Doctor before using medicine containing Benzoyl Peroxide, Sulfur, Resorcinol, Salicylic acid, certain antibiotics including ciprofloxacin and tetracycline, and major tranquilizer.
