Renova Retina-A is available in three formats: Renova Cream, Renova Gel and Renova Liquid. You Doctor only can decide which form is best suited for you. As Retinol Cream works inside the skin, initially your acne may get worse. If the skin condition keeps worsening, consult your Doctor.
Renova Cream or Renova Gel is for external use only. While using Renova, follow the procedure.
- Your hands should be clean before you apply Renova Medication.
- Gently clean the affected skin with a mild cleanser and pat dry.
- Wait at least 15 minute to apply Retin a Cream
- Rub the medication gently with your fingertips layer, usually once daily at time directed by your doctor
- Be careful medication does not get into inner lip area, inside the nose, mouth or on cut, scraped, sunburned skin, or open wounds.
- A cotton pad or cotton swab can be used to apply the liquid.
- If flaking occurs during the day use a washcloth to remove it and apply more moisturizer, or just apply moisturizer.
- If you experience more irritation or flaking, it will be advisable to stop using Retin-A for couple of days.
- After applying, wash your hands properly.
- If you don’t see any difference immediately, don’t get discouraged.
- Never use another medication while using Retin-A
Use it regularly, probably at the same time, in order to get the most benefit from it.
If your skin is hypersensitive or you are allergic to this kind of products, keep away from using Retin-A.
Apply an adequate amount of medication, recommended by your Doctor, to cover the affected surface of the skin. If you apply more than recommended; it will not improve the result and may cause irritation, soreness, or discomfort. Applying excessive Renova Cream or Renova Gel will not produce faster or a better result.
